The Freedom Fund Banquet is not just an event—it’s a movement.
Each year, this powerful gathering brings together civic leaders, faith communities, corporate partners, and grassroots advocates under one roof for one purpose: to advance the fight for justice, equity, and civil rights in Portsmouth and beyond.
As the Portsmouth NAACP’s largest annual fundraiser, this night fuels the work we do year-round—from protecting voting rights and advocating for policy change, to addressing housing inequities, supporting youth programs, and demanding accountability in criminal justice.
